Services

Dental Implants

A surgical component installed in the bone of the jaw or skull to support a dental addition such as a crown, bridge, or denture or to act as an orthodontic anchor.

Extractions and Oral Surgery

Surgery to treat many diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the mouth and jaws and face region.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Dental restorative materials used to restore the function, integrity and structural integrity of missing tooth structure.

Cleanings and Comprehensive Examinations

Cleanings are part of oral hygiene and involve the removal of dental plaque from teeth with the intention of preventing cavities, gingivitis, and periodontal disease. The Comprehensive Examination includes an extensive evaluation of the teeth and gums by the doctor to search for cavities and gingivitis as well as other oral issues.

Crowns and Bridges

Crowns are a dental restoration where a cap is placed on top of the tooth completely covering all five visible surfaces of a tooth. We offer crowns that match the current color of your teeth. Bridges are similar to crowns, but are used primarily to replace missing teeth. They connect to the surface of the surrounding teeth and work as a place holder to prevent the jaw from shrinking.

Professional Teeth Whitening

Dental bleaching. The ADA recommends to have one's teeth checked by a dentist before undergoing any whitening method. The dentist should examine the patient thoroughly: take a health and dental history (including allergies and sensitivities), observe hard and soft tissues, placement and conditions of restorations, and sometimes x-rays to determine the nature and depth of possible irregularities.

Cosmetic Dentistry

At Prudent Family Dentistry, we take pride in offering a wide variety of services from basic cleaning, to cosmetic dentistry, and just about everything in between. In addition to that we also offer dental material and enhancement of the teeth or gums including veneers, crowns, whitening etc.

Root Canal Therapy

In the situation that a tooth is considered so threatened (because of decay, cracking, etc.) that future infection is considered likely or inevitable, the doctor will create an access cavity in the unhealthy or injured tooth. The doctor will do so using a dental hand-piece, cleaning and shaping the root canals with an endodontic file, and restore with filling and a crown.
